Behind The Music

Central Live's Mission to Spread Hope Through Worship

Central Live began as the worship band at Central Church, one of the largest churches in the United States, rooted in the city of Las Vegas since 1962. With locations spanning across the U.S., Mexico, and Australia, in addition to many locations inside prisons through its partnership with God Behind Bars, Central Live uses the power of music to spread the message of Central: it’s okay to not be okay.

Capitol Christian Music Group Partners with Central Live

After the release of their first album, Love Can, in 2014, Central Live has continued to craft their modern, electro pop-rock sound to resonate with and appeal to whoever listens to their music. Their sophomore album, Greater, released in 2017, has officially set the tone for the group’s unique songwriting and originality. In September 2018, they released their first Christmas project, Thrill of Hope. This album included many of our favorite Christmas carols but done in a style that differs from the tradition. This year, Capitol Christian Music Group/Brentwood Benson has selected several tracks from Central Live's Thrill of Hope for a special promotion. They will provide a number of church-specific assets, including tools for church choirs, and promote the project to thousands of churches across the country.
